FAST™, a division of the COMP Group™, is proud to introduce a new line of high-flow billet throttle bodies. The new FAST™ throttle bodies are available in 78mm (#30-54016) & 90mm (#30-54008) configurations and were designed for the new LSX™ polymer intake manifold. Beyond the LSX™ intake, the FAST™ 78mm throttle body can also be used with other Gen III intakes, including the stock intake manifold.
The FAST™ engineering team used the latest computer modeling software and real world testing to produce designs that yield the maximum flow per square inch of cross-sectional area. All FAST™ throttle bodies are machined from super strong 6061-T6 billet aluminum on precision CNC machining centers for consistent quality and light weight.

Burst Panel Kit provides burst release at 38-40 psi boost pressure.
Anyone running a nitrous injected, supercharged, or turbo-charged engine knows that an intake manifold backfire can destroy not only your manifold but damage your engine as well. By installing a FAST™ LSX Burst Panel Kit you create a mechanical boost release system to avoid these costly problems. Best of all, the FAST™ LSX Burst Panel Kit is specifically designed to burst at 38-40 psi as opposed to other kits which burst at 70 psi, well after manifold damage has occurred.
The FAST™ LSX Burst Panel Kit includes an aluminum burst panel that includes radiused retention rings to provide stronger clamping force without impeding the internal flow characteristics of the intake manifold. Stainless steel mounting screws and a black anodized coloration helps resist corrosion and ensures strong clamping loads. Each kit includes enough components to mount two burst panels. Maximum Power, Minimum Headaches! The FAST™ LSX Intake Manifold is designed as a true bolt-on part that fits under the stock hood and uses the factory hardware, fuel lines and linkages while delievering serious power gains. Made from space-age polymer plastic (which is 127% lighter than aluminum), this multi-piece component intake manifold shows a 20 horsepower increase on the LS1 engine and 15 horsepower on the Corvette LS6 engine, with no loss of drivability or low rpm torque. Best of all, the FAST™ space-age plastic polymer intake is 20% stronger than the stock polymer unit. Unlike aftermarket aluminum intakes, the FAST™ polymer intake avoids becoming a power robbing heat sink. The LSX comes with integrated nitrous oxide injector ports and the ability to accept a larger than the stock (75mm) throttle body for increased fuel flow. In addition, the LSX manifold has the capability to be ported and is easily accessible as a result of the multi-piece design. |
