Weather you have a crate engine, home built engine, a super expensive custom build engine or a stocker you can be warned of low oil pressure without an idiot light. Cyberdyne oil pressure gauges can be adjusted to warn you between 8 PSI and 22 PSI. If you want to be warned of oil pressure at 20 PSI you can adjust gauge to flash at 20 PSI. Gauge will flash drawing your attention to low oil pressure. Have that expensive sports car or custom that your wife or girlfriend (or husband or boyfriend) drives but has no idea about anything mechanical. Install one of these gauges and let them know that if gauge flashes, the vehicle should be shut down immediately.
Towing Or Motor Homes
Let’s say you have a motor home or maybe you are pulling a trailer. You want to know your transmission temperature. The gauge has an adjustable range between 180F to 260F. You want to be warned at 210F so that you can take evasive measures to avoid getting the fluid any hotter. Gauge can be adjusted so display flashes at 210F drawing your attention to possible problem. You do not have to constantly monitor your gauge.
For just a little more gauge can be ordered with a memory recall feature. What this feature does is show the highest temperature and lowest temperature gauge read since last being energized. Let’s say after your last fuel stop your transmission temperature was 162F when you started vehicle and went to 185F when you are on the highway. If you want to know what range the trans temp was in since you last started vehicle you push the recall button. The gauge would first flash “lo” and then the number 162 and then flash “hi” and the number 185. Now you know the range your trans fluid operated in since you last started vehicle.
